I work in collaboration with official and serious rental companies and I can offer you, depending on availability:

• A small 4-seater city car, a Hyundai i10 or other city car in this style, manual or automatic.
• A 7-seater family car, a Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Avanza or Toyota Ipsum.
• A Toyota Hilux pick-up.

ALL cars are OFFICIAL for hire, fully insured, unlimited km, recent with air-conditioning, delivered and collected at the airport or elsewhere, with, if necessary, the FREE loan of a baby seat (please specify the child’s weight).

Payment is made in rupees on delivery of the car and after signing the rental contract.

The rates for manual and automatic cars are different. Manual cars are the cheapest.

Payment for the hire car is made on the spot when the vehicle is collected in rupees in cash or by credit card + 3% surcharge on the total for bank charges. Please note that AMERICAN EXPRESS is not accepted as bank charges are too high.

Deposit

I rarely ask for a deposit, except for the largest cars (7-seaters and pick-ups).

Changing your currency

You can change your currency at the airport when you arrive at one of the exchange counters. This is the best rate you can get on the island, so I recommend the SHIBANI counters. You can check the exchange rates here.
